From a blogger's site

I took the cartoon below from another blogger's website. Here's hoping that the U.S. Constitution CAN be put back together again. (Credit Mike Lukovich, artist, Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The blogger's site remains anonymous.)

I've lived within 50 miles of Lincoln Park my entire life (with a few short exceptions for such things as internships, etc.) I could easily have been there as SDS or even Weatherman ("invited" due to being the right age, having the right ("left") attitude, and an undoubtedly useful skillset, but declined. Blowing stuff up for peace never quite made sense to me.) This year's use of the park was much, much better. Living so close to Chicago, I have "known" P-E Obama since before his election to the IL legislature. He is the real thing. I would say WYSIWYG except that he is much more than most have seen during this horribly long campaign. His meetings and appointments, so far, for Cabinet, staff, advisors, etc., lead me to believe he will select people who can be very effective in getting the USA headed back to Democracy and The Constitution.

Sorry about the confusion between Blogger and Blogspot that prevented me from getting here earlier. Have you noticed that when you view your profile, etc., the URL toggles back and forth between the two? I've created a new folder in my bookmarks for friends who blog at places other than Spaces, but I'll probably lose it. Your loyal readership needs to sign off now because he is falling asleep.

Peace, Doc
